Reminder - Swimming Carnival and Water Fun Day

A reminder that our Years 3-6 students (and some Year 2) are heading to Gungahlin Pool tomorrow for our Swimming Carnival. Be at school on time as buses will leave no later than 9.15am. The kiosk will be open at the pool for some extra treats or lunch to purchase. Please bring enough food and water bottle to get through the day. Also, a hat and sunscreen (as there will be some outside break times). K-2 students will remain at school. Morning as normal with the middle session after recess having their water fun day. K-2 students will get wet, so please pack an extra change of clothes. All students can wear their house team's colour tomorrow, otherwise sports uniform would be fine. 

Red Gum Book Club due

Redgum Book Club have extended the catalogue cut-off date by a couple of days. The new catalogue cut-off date is Wednesday 26th February.  Extending the catalogue by 2 days will not delay deliveries.

Shrove Tuesday-helpers still needed

We still require helpers to cook and serve pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. Due to the Swimming Carnival we will celebrate on Monday 24th February.  Please contact Meaghan Younger on meaghan.younger@cg.catholic.edu.au if you can assist in any way. 

Also we need to borrow: electric frying pans, mixing bowls and beaters. 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Special Lunch Orders

Don't forget to order your child's special lunch for Friday 21 February. Orders close on Tuesday (18 February) afternoon at 3pm. This week will be Pasta Bake with a cup of milk or juice. $5 ordered through Qkr!

Recess sales are available to everyone on Friday (50c to $1). Muffins, cookies, hash browns, iceblocks, yoghurt and fruit cups available. 

Please support this parent led initiative. 

Next Special Lunch Day for your calendar will be on Friday 27 March (Week 8) with a new offering.

Before School Care (7-8.30am). The cost of Before School Care session is $22.50 for a permanent (ongoing) booking and $25.00 for a casual booking. YMCA are most happy to assist families with either a permanent or casual booking.
