Pentecost
Last Sunday, we celebrated the Feast of Pentecost, which occurs 50 days after Easter. On that first Pentecost, the disciples were filled with the breath and fire of the Holy Spirit. They were empowered and inspired—ready to embrace their vital role in God’s mission for the world. Strengthened and renewed by the Spirit, their gifts became instruments of grace, allowing them to share love, wisdom, healing, and hope with everyone they encountered.
Pentecost reminds us of the power of unity and the call to build a better world together—through education, support, compassion, and inspiration. It is truly a special and sacred time in the Church year, a moment when God's presence feels especially near. All we need to do is step forward, filled with the Holy Spirit, ready to do good, make a difference, and encourage others to do the same.
