In the coming weeks we are inviting students, teachers and parents to provide feedback on their experience of St Michael’s using an online survey. CECG ask schools to complete the surveys as they form an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process.

As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community, we would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. We would greatly appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at St Michael’s.

A reminder that it is Hat’s On-again time- the beginning of August is when UV levels start rising again.

UV exposure causes 95% of skin cancers in Australia. So, whenever the UV hits 3 or above, we need to make sure everyone at St Michael’s school uses a combination of sun protection strategies (Slip, Slop Slap Seek, Slide). St Michael’s follows CECG Policy, ‘no hat- play in the shade’.

Ride and walk to school

Thank you to everyone who came along to the walk or ride to school morning- amazing effort! We are so proud of all our champion students and families at St Michael’s- future Olympians! Thank you to our friends at ACT Government who supplied the prize packs which we raffled on the day.

National Science Week

We are getting excited, next week, 10 August-18 August is National Science Week. Students have been preparing an experiment to share with their peers. We welcome all families to view our Science Experiments on Thursday 15 August from 2:30pm.

Reminders

School fees were sent out recently. We appreciate all our families who pay school fees promptly and support us in providing an excellent educational experience. If you are experiencing issues or concerns with fees please call and make an appointment.
