Principal's Page - Judy Egan
Dear Parents and Carers,
There is always so much happening at school and I thank our staff for their ongoing support of your children, we are indeed privileged to have a team who commit time and energy to providing a safe and welcoming environment and multiple learning opportunities for all.
Thank you to Father Mick who has been visiting our students prior to Easter and to Mrs. Erika Tokich for her preparation and guidance of our students currently preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, there will be a Retreat Day tomorrow. We keep these students and families in our prayers.
Harmony Day
Tomorrow, March 21st is Harmony Day in Australia- the theme is "Everyone Belongs”.
St Michael’s children will be completing some learning tasks to highlight this important theme.
Goal Setting Interviews
Next Tuesday 26 March, Wednesday 27 March and Thursday 28 March are scheduled for Goal Setting Parent/Teacher Meetings. Bookings (via Compass) opened on March 12 and will close this Friday 22 March. I encourage you to take this opportunity to build the home-school relationship by learning about your child’s strengths and challenges and how you can support your child at home. We value the involvement of Year 5/6 students in the process as they begin to take further responsibility around their learning.
School Photos
A reminder that school photos will take place this Friday 22 March, starting with Kindergarten at 9am, thank you for ensuring that your child is wearing full summer uniform.

Robocup
Thank you to Ms Hallahan for taking time out of her weekend to accompany a group of enthusiastic students to a Robocup Workshop this Saturday. We offer STEM activities. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) as one of our lunchtime clubs and it is an important part of our Technology initiatives. We look forward to hearing about the great learning and coding!
Fee Statements
Please read the information below regarding Fee Statements.
As we enter into the final weeks of Lent, something I heard recently; If Jesus was in your car- where would he be? In the boot to be taken out for emergencies, in the back seat for some availability, in the passenger seat for ongoing guidance- or taking the wheel?
Many blessings,
Judy Egan
